Day 1: HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL (D)

On your arrival to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel.Enjoy your Welcome Dinner.Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR & CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L)

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for a sightseeing tour to Cu Chi Tunnels. Explore the infamous Cu Chi Tunnel, an immense network of underground tunnels used by the Vietcong as a military base during the Vietnam War.After lunch we return to Ho Chi Minh City to vist major sights including Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market.Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: HO CHI MINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)

After breakfast today our local guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a sightseeing tour of Cai Be floating markets and Tan Phong island in the Mekong Delta where you will stay overnight.Possible activities: biking, gardening, fishingLunch & Dinner at a local restaurantOvernight in the Mekong Delta area hotel.

Day 4: MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)

During our stay in the Mekong Delta area we will visit the Cao Dai Temple, Cai Be Cathedral; handicraft workshops of rice paste, coconut candies, pop-rice, pop-corn and Ba Kiet ancient house.  We will also visit local schoolsEnjoy lunch and dinner at local restaurants.Today's activities could include: cycling to a handicraft village, experience in making handbags, rice papers; cooking class at hotel.Overnight in the Mekong Delta.

Day 5: MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)

This morning take row boat along the canals, seeing the daily local life.Check out after lunch then back to Ho Chi Minh City early evening.Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6: HO CHI MINH CITY - FLIGHT TO DA NANG - HOI AN (B)

This morning is at your leisure for relaxing or shopping. At noon, you will be transferred to the airport for a short domestic flight to Da Nang.On arrival you will be welcomed by our local tour guide and driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An.The rest of the day is at your leisure.Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7: HOI AN - MY SON HOLY LAND TOUR (B)

In the morning, we will visit My Son Sanctuary, the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam up to the 13th century. Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My Son including ancient towers which were built from the 4th century.The afternoon will be at your own leisure.Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8: HOI AN - EXPLORE LOCAL LIFE (B/L)

Today we will visit the Tra Que herb garden, a fishing village, coconut palm jungle and Eco village.Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.Activities will include: Bike riding, a buffalo ride, therapist foot massage; boatingOvernight in Hoi An.

Day 9: HOI AN - HUE (B/L)

After breakfast you will be transferred to Hue by private car through the high pass of Hai Van.After lunch, enjoy your free time at leisure.Overnight in Hue.

Day 10: HUE CITY TOUR (B/L)

In the morning, we will cruise along the romantic Perfume River before heading out for the countryside. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, remote craft villages making conical hat and incense, and the royal tombs of King Khai Dinh and King Tu Duc.After lunch, visit Forbidden City to discover the legacy of the Nguyen royal dynasty and explore the bustling Dong Ba market.Overnight in Hue.

Day 11: HUE - FLIGHT TO HANOI (B)

Our driver will pick you up after breakfast and transfer you to Hue airport for short domestic flight to Hanoi.On arrival you will be welcomed by our local tour guide and driver who will transfer you to your hotel.The rest of your day is at your leisure.Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 12: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L)

Spend your morning to discover the stately Hanoi. Begin your day with an insight into the life of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's most respected revolutionary leader. Visit his mausoleum, house on stilt, the Presidential Palace and the historic One Pillar Pagoda. Then set foot to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university originally built as a temple to Confucius.After lunch, we will visit the Museum of Ethnology, one of Vietnam's top museum. Then jump on the iconic cyclo the Old Quarter. Later enjoy the unique Water Puppet show.Overnight in Hanoi.Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is open from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends from 8am to 11pm. Closed on Mondays and Fridays. The mausoleum is closed for two months of the year, usually October and November, when Ho Chi Minh’s body is undergoing maintenance by an Russian expert.

Day 13: HANOI - HOA LU & TAM COC (B/L)

Today from Hanoi we will visit the Ancient Capital of Hoa Lu, Dinh and Le Sanctuaries and visit Tam Coc's three caves by sampan.Visiting Tam Cốc (“three caves”) is a 3 hour excursion by small boat along the Ngo Dong River. The landscape is beautiful rice fields and karst towers. We float through three natural caves (Hang Cả, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba). The largest cave is 125m long with a ceiling about 2m high above the water which was lovely to float through. It is fascinating to watch how the women handle the row boats with their feet with such dexterity.Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 14: HANOI - SAPA (B)

At leisure today!In the late afternoon our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the railway station.Check into a VIP 2 berth cabin (private cabin) on the  Sapaly Express train.Each cabin is decorated with natural wooden furniture, soft pillows, fresh blankets, graceful curtains and state of the art facilities.Overnight on Sapaly Express train

Day 15: SAPA (B/L)

Wake up to the outstretched valleys and vibrant rice paddy fields as your train arrive into Lao Cai Railway Station. You will be welcomed by the local tour guide and transferred to Sapa for breakfast at Victoria Sapa Hotel.Sightseeing and activities today will include climbing up Ham Rong Mountain to get a panoramic view of the "Cloud City", trekking and visiting the home of Black H'mong ethnic community and Cat Cat village.Lunch will be at a local restaurant.Overnight in Sapa.

Day 16: SAPA (B/L)

Today we continue our off-the-beaten treks to Ban Khoang and Ta Giang Phing villages. Meet friendly local ethnics in their traditional dresses and experience their authentic daily life.Lunch is at a local restaurantYour afternoon is at leisure.Overnight in Sapa.

Day 17: SAPA - HANOI (B/L/D)

Spend the day exploring Sapa's magnificent scenary as you trek to Lao Chai & Ta Van villages, with lunch at a local restaurant. You will have the chance to interact with the local ethnic communities before heading back to Sapa Town.In the afternoon you will be transferred back to Lao Cai for a night train to Hanoi.After dinner, check into a private cabin on Sapaly train.Overnight on train.

Day 18: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B/L/D)

Our private vehicle will pick you up at the Hanoi Railway Station and take you to a hotel for breakfast before being transferred to Hai Phong/Halong Bay via a cruise bus.Check in at the cruise terminal around 11 am then a tender boat will take you from the wharf to board our luxurious cruise ship. You will be welcomed aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink.A special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites will be served as we set sail for Lan Ha Bay passing by the Da Chong islet where you will see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago.After lunch, explore the extraordinary limestone karst landscapes and Me Cung cave. Swim or kayak in the crystal clear waters of the bay, at Ba Trai Dao beach or Tra Bau area.Back on the main boat join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration before dinner, a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers. You will be guided through the process.  Enjoy pre dinner "Happy Hour" with a special drink menu (buy one get one free).Tonight, enjoy a special Dinner in the restaurant.After dinner relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. Day 20: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B/L/D)

Check out of your cabin after breakfast and relax as we sail back to cruise terminal.Lunch is served onboard and once you are back at the terminal you will be transferred to Hanoi, arriving around 5pm.In the evening, our Tour Guide will take you out to enjoy our Farewell Dinner.Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 21: HANOI DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast our private car will pick you up from your hotel then transfer you to the airport for your departure home.
